This product allows me to safely draw my promethazine out of the ampule without any glass and bacteria being injected. Vials used to be how my promethazine came prior to shortages, but ampules are all that is available currently. Without using a .22 um sterile filter I would be injecting small glass particles contaminated with bacteria as it is highly likely would happen upon breaking any glass ampule. This product is a life savor!
