Product Details
The product is a dry powder SB broth medium. The product specification is 250g per bottle. SB medium is rich in a substantial amount of tryptone and yeast extract. The major nutrients contained in tryptone and yeast extract far exceed what is required to reach cell growth saturation. SB medium is mainly used for the extraction of plasmids and proteins.
Instructions for use:
1.Weigh 57.0 g of this product
2.Dissolve it by heating in 1000 mL of distilled water
3.Dispense it into aliquots
4.Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes before use
